Kruxmind is proprietary software, but it relies on open-source libraries and on the speedcubing community's public knowledge. This page lists what we use, from whom, and under which license.

Algorithm sources
F2L, OLL, PLL, COLL, CMLL and 2x2 (Ortega/CLL/EG) algorithms are the speedcubing community's standard ones, consistent with what's published on SpeedCubeDB, jperm.net, algdb and the SpeedSolving Wiki. The advanced sets (WV, SV, VLS, CLS, EO, ZBLL, ELL, 2GLL, BLE) cite their specific source directly in the app, next to each set.
History and biographies
The facts, dates and records in the History section come from the World Cube Association (official records and dates), Wikipedia and the SpeedSolving Wiki.
